Our Story

Teri has been a mom to many pets over the years, so you can be comfortable knowing your family member is in loving hands. Top priority in her salon is a safe, stress-free environment where her canine clients feel comfortable... a home away from home.

They will receive one on one attention by her with the respect, love and patience they all deserve. She wants them to have the best experience possible during their time at the spa. And of course, included in every visit she will give them all the cuddles they want and ALWAYS deserve.

Teri Sullivan is a certified groomer who received her dog grooming certification with honours from Dog Port Academy in Woodstock, Ontario and has recently completed Pet First Aid with St John Ambulance. Teri is very artistic and has always loved animals ... her passion being dogs. It made total sense to her to combine both her creativity and love for dogs into a dream career.

Her first family pet was a Welsh Corgi named Corky who opened her heart to how much joy and unconditional love that comes from having a furry family member. There are so many great memories from her childhood that include Corky because she was part of their family.

When Teri went out on her own she couldn't imagine not having a home without a pet, so she decided to adopt an adorable cat who she named Clohe. Her future children got to spend time with Clohe as well. Clohe lived a long life … 21 years. They were all very grateful to have had so much time with her.

Teri believed that a family should always include pets so there were always both cats and dogs who were loved in her home and part of her growing family. At present there is Lucy and Ricky, two Jack Russell/Pugs, who share her home, are a big part of her life and family.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q - How long does grooming take?

Q - How long does grooming take? A - The amount of time it takes varies on a number of things; how big your dog is, the length you want the coat kept, and your dog's behaviour on the grooming table. Generally, most grooms are 3 hours or more. We cannot guarantee dogs will be finished by a certain time unless the dog has been here before and we know how long they take.

Q - Can I stay for the grooming?

Q - Can I stay for the grooming? A - In most cases, dogs behave better and are less nervous once you have left. We are always willing to allow you to come down and stay the first few minutes, but after that it is to everyone's benefit that you leave the spa. Don't worry, your pooch is in very good hands.

Q - My dog may bite the groomer can you still groom him or her?

Q - My dog may bite the groomer can you still groom him or her? A - We are always willing to give it a try. Please be sure to let us know what might be a problem for your dog during the grooming session. For the safety of both your dog and the groomer, we will not continue working with dogs that become too aggressive or anxious. In these cases, we may have to stop the groom midway through. In some situations, if a pet is upset, we may be able to skip that stressful procedure or just take a "time out" before we continue. We do not use tranquilizers under ANY circumstance. A call will be made to the pet's parent to let them know if we cannot go forward with the grooming process.
